» Advance polling day : Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Harrington Valley Community Center (420, Harrington road)
» Polling day : Sunday,  March 12, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lost River Community Center (2811, Route 327)

Any declaration of candidacy for this position must be filed at the office of the returning officer, at the Town Hall located at 2940 route 327 in Harrington, on the following days, dates and times:

» From January 27, 2023 to February 10, 2023

Monday            from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuesday           from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Wednsday        from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday          from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday              from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note: on Friday, February 10, 2023, the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. continuously

Be sure to change your address with the Quebec Address Change Service (SQCA). You can also contact Élections Québec directly by calling 1 888 ÉLECTION or 1 888-353-2846 or by writing to info@electionsquebec.qc.ca so that your name is entered on the permanent list of electors taking into account your new address.

Don’t live in Harrington?

You may have the right to vote if you are the owner of an immovable or if you are the occupant of a business establishment in the municipality for at least 12 months on January 25th, 2023. To exercise your right to vote, you must submit an application for registration on the electoral list by completing the form adapted to your situation.

To be eligible, you must be 18 years of age or older on polling day and have the Canadian citizenship on January 25th, 2023. You must not be under curatorship or deprived of your election rights on that date.

To exercise your voting right, you must submit the appropriate document:

  • An application for entry if you are the sole owner of an immovable or sole occupant of a business establishment.
  • If you are one of the co-owners of co-occupants of an immovable or a business establishment, a power of attorney designing one person among you, who will be entered on the list.

In order for the application to be valid for the current election, you must submit your form no later than February 27th  2023

The application for entry on the list of electors or the power of attorney remains valid until it is replaced or withdrawn. If you want to replace or withdraw an existing application for entry or a power of attorney, please contact the returning officer.

You will have the opportunity to vote by mail. To do so, you must make a written request to the returning officer no later than February 27th, 2023
