Volunteer Appreciation Brunch: a moment of gratitude and sharing

Yesterday, Sunday, October 27, the municipal council had the pleasure of welcoming our precious volunteers for a recognition brunch in their honor. This event took place at Auberge Val Carroll in Harrington and gathered around fifty participants from our three community centers: Lost River Community Center, Harrington Valley Community Center and Golden Age Community Center.

This festive gathering was also an opportunity to warmly thank all those who dedicate their time and energy to enriching the life of our community. Volunteers play an essential role in the functioning of our centers, and their commitment does not go unnoticed.

The mayor, Ms. Gabrielle Parr, shared a few words at the event: “Thank you for your generosity, your time, and your energy. You are greatly contributing to building a better future. Enjoy this brunch and know that you are appreciated and admired.” The leaders of the community centers also delivered heartfelt messages to highlight the importance of every contribution. These words perfectly reflect the significance of volunteering in our municipality and the gratitude we feel towards everyone who contributes to our collective life.

A big thank you to all the volunteers for their dedication and passion. Together, let’s continue to build a strong and supportive community!
