Elected Officials’ Compensation
The law provides compensation for municipal elected officials in the exercise of their functions. The remuneration consists of two elements: the salary and the expense allowances.
In accordance with article 11 of the Loi sur le traitement des élus municipaux, every municipality must publish this information on its website.
