About the 911 Emergency Service

The Chaudière‑Appalaches Emergency Call Centre (CAUCA) provides this service in the MRC d’Argenteuil. It receives calls at all times and forwards them to the appropriate service: ambulance, police, or fire department.

Equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology, CAUCA serves more than 300 municipalities in Québec, representing about one million residents. In the Laurentides region, it meets the needs of over 78,000 people, including approximately 30,000 in the MRC d’Argenteuil.
