To better support our seniors, municipal employees recently completed the Éclaireurs program by Prévoyance envers les aînés des Laurentides.
Prévoyance envers les aînés des Laurentides
Prévoyance envers les aînés des Laurentides is a community organization that supports seniors by directing them to the appropriate resources when they face difficulties. Through a network of volunteers called Sentinelles, the organization offers personalized support for each situation.
The services are free, confidential, and available in both French and English. If you are a senior or know of a senior in need, contact Prévoyance envers les aînés des Laurentides at 1 844 551-6032.

Éclaireurs Training
This program raises participants’ awareness of the signs of vulnerability in seniors, making it easier to identify those who are losing autonomy or at risk of abuse.
The Éclaireurs act as the “eyes and ears” of the community, helping to spot situations that require special attention.
Thanks to this training, our employees are now better equipped to recognize the needs of seniors, contributing to their safety and well-being. The municipal council will also undergo this training in the coming weeks to further strengthen our commitment to supporting our seniors.
Training open to everyone
The good news is that this training is open to all! By becoming an Éclaireur, you can actively participate in protecting our seniors. The program is free and allows everyone to act as an ambassador for the seniors in our community.
