The ECONOLOGIS program, from the ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs of the Gouvernement du Québec, is back this year. This program gives citizens the opportunity to benefit free of charge from advice and interventions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of their homes.
The proposed interventions are simple but effective, ranging from window caulking, installing weather stripping at the bottom of doors, insulating electrical outlets located on exterior walls, installing a low-flow showerhead, and adding an aerator to faucets. Participants receive free products such as LED bulbs, thermometers, small nightlights, hygrometers, and timers.
